On Thursday January 10, at around 1.30pm UK time, host Seth MacFarlane and actress Emma Stone will reveal the nominations for the 2013 Oscars.
We’ll be streaming the announcement below when it kicks off, and updating the nomination categories as they come in.
The duo will announce this year’s Academy Awards contenders from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ headquarters in Beverly Hills. It’s the first time a host has helped unveil the nominees since 1972.
MacFarlane is most famous for creating ‘Family Guy’ and voicing several characters in the hit animation. Stone is one of Hollywood’s hottest young stars, and perhaps coincidentally is currently promoting ‘Gangster Squad’.
The Oscar ceremony itself will take place on February 24 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
