Several pairs of underwear leant to Lady Gaga to use in a new music video have been lost by Lady Gaga.
Rigby and Peller, which holds the royal warrant to provide underwear to the Queen, said that they had loaned seven pairs of prototype knickers from its latest collection to Lady Gaga.
However, although it was stipulated all of them must be returned promptly for a catwalk show, only three were sent back with the others seemingly lost in transit, the Press Association reports.
A spokeswoman for the lingerie company told the news provider: “They are all hand-made and unique designs that are simply priceless and are not available anywhere in the world so we are really disappointed not to get them back in time for our major showcase of the year.”
As well as the Queen, celebrity clients of Rigby and Pellar include Sophie Dahl and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Lady Gaga is currently on a world tour which includes several dates in the UK from later this month.
