France Unemployment:French people wriggling unemployment, the economy is getting worse every day / EU News

Over 3 million unemployed in France, major companies shuts down the government desperate.

The total number of people without a job in France reached 3.13 million people in Jan-Nov, according to figures released by the Labor Ministry.

According to the source, last month another 29,300 people lost their jobs, a 0.9 percent increase against Oct.

Added to those in part-time jobs, they reach 4.60 million jobless.

Once again, the youngsters and those over 50 are the worst-hit by the worsened labor market, noted the ministry.

There has been an upward trend in unemployment for 19 months now, as a result of the economic crisis, the closure of plants and the policies implemented to face the debt problems.

President Francois Hollande admitted that the economic situation will be very difficult next year and the loss of jobs will continue increasing, though he predicted an improvement of the situation in late 2013, likely to be thanked to his government plans.

“By the end of 2013 we must likely have managed to reverse the unemployment trend,” said Hollande today during a surprise visit to the international agrifood market of Rungis, in southern Paris.
