Czech goalkeeper Petr Cech has moved across London to join Premier League side Arsenal from champions Chelsea, according to the North London club’s website.
Arsenal signed the 33-year-old Czech keeper on a four-year, 10 million pound ($16 million) deal, the BBC reported.
“When Arsene Wenger spoke to me about his ambitions for this club, and how he saw me as part of this team, the decision was clear,” Cech told the club website, referring to the Arsenal manager.
Cech joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2004 and made over 400 appearances for the West London club, winning four Premier League titles, four FA cups, three League cups, a Europa League title and the Champions League.
