According to “Bild”, Heard is said to have called the 58-year-old a “joke” in the recording. Depp, on the other hand, called her a “spoiled brat” whose jealousy affected his career. While the two discussed loudly with each other, the 36-year-old is said to have laughed mockingly again and again.

Amber, who overheard the audio from the witness stand, is said to have commented after playing the recording: “I insulted him with terrible, ugly words. We spoke to each other in a really terrible way,” said the 36-year-old .

But it should not have stayed with the verbal arguments, according to Johnny’s legal team. In cross-examination, they therefore want to know from Amber whether she ever physically attacked the actor.

“I hit Johnny,” the actress then admitted. However, she only did it to defend herself and her sister. Because the 58-year-old is said to have already become violent towards Amber’s sister.

Audio recording reveals another violent argument

As another audio recording of another dispute allegedly proves, it is said that the one-off physical confrontation was not the only one. The audio recording is said to be hearing Johnny complaining about his then-wife’s repeated beatings during a discussion. When he tried to leave the argument, Amber reportedly mockingly referred to the 58-year-old as a “baby” because he complained of being hit, according to the Daily Mail.

After playing the recording, Amber allegedly again invoked self-defense. At that point, she had had enough of Depp’s violence after years of not defending herself.
