Video News – A woman in Turkey has been caught on security camera while she shot her husband and her husband’s friend in the middle of a busy street in Istanbul, Turkey.

According to security officials, Nazmiye Balta who had an argument with her husband, Ismail Balta took a gun which she was carrying in her hand bag and shot her husband from his back in a busy street in the district of Beşiktaş, Istanbul.

The mother of three then pointed the gun at a man named only as Hüseyin, who is seen dressed in a red shirt on the security camera, before shooting him.

From the security camera images, Ismail Balta who is wearing a white suit is seen walking calmly past a truck which is parked on the road.

A few seconds after Mr Balta who owns a mobile food outlet, appears on the camera, a woman is seen rushing behind him.

The woman, identified as Nazmiye Balta, then fires three shots at the back of her husband, causing Mr Balta to fall on the ground and is seen in pain.

After the first shots were fired, dozens of people are seen panicking and hastily fleeing the area into shops and behind walls.

The woman then attempts to look for the second man identified only as Hüseyin, in the direction of the truck where she first appears on the security camera.

Mrs Balta then see’s Mr Hüseyin fleeing the scene with a distinctive red shirt and fires a shot at him.

Both men are then seen on the floor. After several minutes, shop workers and pedestrians help the two men as one other witness calls the ambulance service and police to the area.

It is reported that, Nazmiye Balta, gave herself up by going to a police station later in the evening.

Both men are recovering from their wounds. Police officials have confirmed that, Ismail Balta was wounded by three bullets while Mr Hüseyin received a flesh wound from the bullet fired at him.

Nazmiye Balta, has been charged with attempted murder and remanded in custody pending a court hearing.

It is not known what caused the argument which led Mrs Balta to shoot her husband.
