Turkish club Galatasaray says we had  Wesley Sneijder, but Manchester United still secretly talking with Soren Lerby. Transfer to become clear in the Saturday night.

Inter star Wesley Sneijder was on the cusp of a move to Manchester United in 2011, but in the end a deal couldn’t be agreed, so with the Dutchman now likely to leave the Italian side this month, the Red Devils have been suspiciously quiet.

The latest reports say that Sneijder is unsure about an offer from Galatasaray, and could lower his wage demands as a result, so don’t rule out a Manchester  United approach.

Sneijder has told his agent that his preference remains a move to England.Soren Lerby insists his client is waiting for other clubs to firm up their interest.

Wesley Sneijder’s agent said that the Dutch international’s transfer intention could be clear Saturday as his negotiations with Galatasaray are in full swing.

The 28-year-old Inter playmaker, after being frozen out by the San Siro side following his refusal to sign a new contract with a reduced wage, is an asset in the winter transfer market and has been linked with the likes of  Anzhi and Manchester United.

But his representative Soren Lerby has admitted that by Saturday, things should become clearer.

“Talks between Sneijder, his family and Galatasaray began on Thursday,” Lerby said Friday.

“Anything can happen in football at any time, so we’ll see what happens. But I expect things to become clear when we wake up tomorrow.”
