Wacken Open Air 2023 tickets sold out after five hours

All 80,000 tickets have been sold just five hours after the start of advance sales for the heavy metal festival in Wacken 2023. This was announced by the organizer of the Wacken Open Air (W:O:A) on Monday morning. Sales started at 8 p.m. on Sunday, and the set mark of 80,000 tickets was reached after just five hours. According to the information, a remaining contingent of tickets is still being held back for the official travel partners of the W:O:A.
According to the organizers, the festival had never sold out so quickly. Next year it will take place for the 32nd time, from August 2nd to August 5th. It will take four days for the first time. The British band Iron Maiden has been announced, as well as Dropkick Murphys, Megadeth and the Ukrainian metal band Jinjer.
This year’s Wacken Open Air (W:O:A) ended on Sunday night. Around 83,400 fans celebrated concerts by metal greats such as Judas Priest, Slipknot and Powerwolf, among others.
