The arguments erupted during the group proposals of the BDP after Tayfun Içli spoke of his thoughts regarding the BDP’s proposals calling it “fascist” and “racist” while raising his voice.
BDP MP’s Hasip Kaplan and Sırrı Sakık was then heard cursing and swearing at Içli.
Sakık, who was particularly angered by Içli’s comments was stopped by fellow BDP MP’s from going up to the platform where Içli was specking.
However Sakık who still looked very angry was heard shouting the words “f… off” several times.
To calm the two groups down, a break was given by the Parliament speaker.
Sırrı Sakık who spoke after the break apologized for swearing and said “This is not our style, it is something that we object to.
“But we have thought against racism and fascism all our life, when we were accused of these acts, we were angered,
“Words that we do not approve of came out of our mouths. I apologize to the Parliament and Media.
“We do not deserve to be called fascist or racist.”
