Robin van Persie could be sold to Manchester United before August 18
Ever since Arsenal striker Robin van Persie confirmed that he would not re-sign with the club at the end of the season, he was a man in high demand and instantly became the most talked-about striker in world football.

Manchester United emerged as a potential landing spot for the wantaway striker and the possible move has enthralled commentators and spectators alike throughout the summer transfer window.

Robin Van Persie is demanding £10.1million a year for his signature this summer.
The Dutchman’s agent Kees Vos met with Italian champions Juventus and revealed the Arsenal skipper wants £195,000 a week in wages. That would make Van Persie one of the highest-paid players in the world. Wayne Rooney receives £200,000 a week from United.

Manchester United are preparing to make a third bid for Sao Paulo’s promising attacking midfielder, Lucas Moura.
Having had bids of around £23 million and £27 million rejected earlier this month, the club are prepared to up their offer one more time to £32 million, in the hope that this will finally tempt the Brazilian club to part with their most prized asset.
Sao Paulo director Marco Aurelio Cunha had yesterday told local publication TMW that United only needed to offer “a little more” to complete the transfer, his comments interpreted by some to be confirmation that the club were willing to sell Lucas.
The Brazilian prodigy looked very impressive when subbed on for the final 20 minutes of his country’s Olympic warm-up game with Great Britain yesterday, and United will be keen to complete the transfer before the tournament begins, in fear that his price tag may skyrocket if the player were to impress.
As well as making 15 appearances for the Brazilian national side, Lucas has played over 100 times for Sao Paulo, scoring an impressive 26 goals in all competitions.

i hv a slight diferent opinion,,both players fergie intent to sign are of quality n ov classic standard,bt i still feel we nid to improve much on our central defenders and as well as the central midfielder attacker,,we cnt continue on attacking on the wingers,we nid to win playing also in the middle of the park posses more balls,,we dnt nid to spend mo money only to strikers every season..we gt plenty strikers already and thy jst nid mo games to play..plz 1 centre bck n posible pla marker or centre attecker midfielder..
