Turkish FM walks out on Israeli Dep. FM speech in New York City
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu left an international anti-terror conference held in NYC as Israeli deputy FM Ayalon prepared to address the nations.
WASHINGTON-NationalTurk Turkey Israel relations took another hit as Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu walked out on an international conference on anti-terror measures just moments before Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon was set to make his speech.
Other than Ahmet Davutoglu and Daniel Ayalon, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppé and his Italian counterpart Franco Frattini also spoke at the international anti-terror measures conference.
Turkey FM leaves conference as Israeli FM set to speak
Daniel Ayalon’s personal history with Turkishgovernment officials was marked badly in 2010, when the Israeli diplomat summoned Turkish Ambassador to Israel Ahmet Oguz Celikkol to the Israeli Foreign Ministry to remonstrate him and the Turkish government over an anti-Israel Turkish TV show and made him sit on a chair lower than his own – an act perceived as a deliberate humiliation of Ankara’s diplomat.
Commenting on Davutoğlu’s departure before his speech, Daniel Ayalon stated he was sorry that “not all NATO members see fit to cooperate with Israel in the session.”
Turkey Israel Relations hit bottom
Earlier Monday, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met with the Turkish Foreign Minister and urged him to “leave the door ajar” for the normalization of Israel Turkey relations, which hit all time-bottom.

Israel should cut relations with Turkey entirely, and point to the disrespect given, as well as the Turkish government’s interference with its sovereignty which led to it doing something stupid.
If you call a president of a country a murderer, you should pay a price, but Israel was too chicken to hammer AKP on that then, and look what’s happened now.
