Turkish Fighters kill more than 20 in Military Operation at Turkey Iraq border
Nearly 30 people were killed by Turkish jets in an air raid SW Turkey near the Uludere town of Turkey’s Şırnak province at Iraq border overnight, claims indicate killed persons do are not Pkk terrorist, but diesel smuggling peasants.
Şırnak / NationalTurk – Turkish fighter planes assaulted a rocky area near the Ortasu village of Uludere, Şırnak, at the Iraq border after unmanned drones and thermal cameras detected a big group entering Turkey. The air bombardment started at 11 p.m. [Turkish local time] and more than 20 people were killed, Turkish news agencies reported.
Four bodies were brought to the Şırnak State Hospital, while peasants took many charred bodies to the Ortasu village atop tractors and mules. According to the villagers, the bodies were charred as their diesel drums they smuggled from Iraq into Turkey exploded, while some were perished under the rubble of a collapsed big rock under which they took shelter.

Fehmi Yaman, the mayor of Uludere announced after the attack ” We have 30 charred and burned corpses. The state knew that these people were smuggling in the region.” The Governor of Şırnak also confirmed that more than 20 people were killed in the action.
The number of the killed terrorists or smugglers is still uncertain, as the local government in Uludere claims the number of killed is between 30 and 35.

The Turkish officials said the area where the incident took place was on the Iraq border and that the group was carrying goods smuggled on mules. Mules have perished as well in the attack.
BDP co-leaders Gültan Kışanak and Selahattin Demirtaş, Kurdish representatives in the Turkish Parliament did not waste time and are on their way to the area of the attack, where mules and smugglers have perished.
