Turkey-Sweden-Finland talks canceled indefinitely
At Ankara's request, the tripartite mechanism meeting between Turkey, Sweden and Finland was canceled indefinitely.
The tripartite mechanism meetings for NATO accession with Sweden and Finland have been canceled indefinitely.
According to Habertürk, the decision was taken at the request of Turkey.
Turkey signed a Triple Memorandum with Sweden and Finland, which objected to their participation in NATO on the grounds of “supporting terrorism”, and the Permanent Joint Mechanism established within this framework held its first meeting in Helsinki, the capital of Finland.
