Turkey Match Fixing Scandal has revealed some insight into FIFA footballer’s agents examination last March held by Turkey Football Federation.

The bigger and prominenter the arrested names get, such as turkish sports club executives, managers and players, the controversy regarding the match fixing scandal expands likewise.
Match Fixing and Fifa Player Agent Exam are linked
The police have confirmed that the FIFA footballer’s agents examination last March held by Turkey Football Federation is also a subject of allegations in the scandal erupted last sunday.
The footballer’s agents exam took place on the 31th of March, on the 4th of April its results was released to the public at the TFF Official Website, that 38 of 118 candidates eventually passed the exam and gained the rights to be a football agent.
TFF released the following day to the public, 10 day after the results have been released, that the exam was invalidated, and all signs pointed out, that the questions prepared and sent out by FIFA to local federations were somehow acquired by some of the candidates, which can lead to cause a serious trouble between TFF and FIFA.
After having invalidated the exam for football players’ agents, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) blamed the FIFA for not protecting the questions good enough with the decrypting method.

The match fixing probe shows now, that the exam and its results were been also under investigation and there were among 22 arrested names, several agents and persons who are believed to have stolen the exam’s question sheets. Furthermore former TFF president Mahmut Ozgener is invited to Istanbul Police department headquarters as a suspect for questioning. The former presidents relations with some arrested suspects have been under police radar for some time.
The arrested former president of Giresunspor Olgun Peker is a suspect in question sheets theft and he is one of the agent candidates, who passes the exam in march. Some Turkey Football Federation officials are reported to have direct contact with the theft suspect and it is believed by police that the former president of football in Turkey was aware of all this.
Ex-President of TFF Mahmut Özgener had blamed the FIFA for not protecting the questions good enough with the decrypting method and the latest telephone conservations reveal Ozgener cursing FIFA and then invalidating the exam.
