Turkey will never Allow any Illegal, Terrorist Acts in Our Territories, Turkish President

Turkish President said they would never allow any illegal and terrorist acts in Turkey’s territories.

President Abdullah Gul said they would not allow anyone, except for security forces, to carry weapons.

Turkish President Gul, who was in New York, the United States and attended the 65th Session UN General Assembly meetings, returned to Turkey.

He told reporters at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport after his arrival, “heads of state and government of 139 countries were in attendance at the UN General Assembly meetings. I firstly attended the UN Millennium Development Goals Summit on September 20. I was the co-chairman of a round-table meeting on combat against poverty, famine and gender inequality.On September 21, I attended a summit on ‘UN Millennium Development Goals and Under-developed Countries’. Leaders of those countries expressed their pleasure that Istanbul will host the conference of under-developed countries in June 2011.”
