Turkey Earthquake Miracle :Turkish boy rescued after 4 days
Rescue workers have pulled out a teenager alive from the debris 108 hours after 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit the province of Van in southeastern Turkey hard.
Van / NationalTurk – Rescuers, working under floodlights, rescued a 13-year-old boy, who was buried under the rubble of a collapsed apartment building in the worst-quakehit town of Ercis, on Friday.
Television footage showed a rescue team carrying, Ferhat Tokay, out of the debris. Later pictures showed him conscious while looking at his rescuers. He has survived the catastrophe.
The boy’s rescue came 108 hours after Sunday’s earthquake that has left more than 550 people dead and at least 2,300 injured.

The death toll is likely to rise since many people are still buried under the debris. Emergency officials said 186 people have been rescued in Van and Ercis so far.
The earthquake in Turkey destroyed more than 2,000 buildings and caused damage to 3,700 others, which are declared unsafe to live in by Turkish authorities.
Earlier two unfortunate teenagers, who were also pulled from rubbles by rescue teams, have died due to inner bleeding and traumas while they hade been en-route to hospital. The lack of a mobile hospital is among the many thing which the AKP government are criticised for.
