In the USA, the counting of the votes continues in the 59th presidential election, where Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden competed.
Contrary to published polls, Trump is expected to declare victory in the critical state Florida, according to unofficial results, in the election race between Trump and Biden.
Responding to Trump’s victory statement, the Democratic Governor of Pennsylvania announced that there are more than 1 million votes in the state yet to be counted.
US Democratic politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized Trump’s victory announcement in his post on his Twitter account and said, “Donald Trump’s early victory claims are illegitimate, dangerous and authoritarian. Count the votes. Respect the results.”
According to the news in the Associated Press, Biden won the state of Arizona with 11 delegates, increasing the total number of delegates to 236. Biden was also the second democratic politician in the state to win elections in the state since 1948, with the election victory in Arizona.
In his statement on the election results, Trump said:
“The results we got tonight are tremendous, we were ready to celebrate. We won Georgia, we won Texas. We are two and a half percent ahead, only 7 percent of the votes open, there is no way they can catch us. Most importantly, we win Pennsylvania by a big margin. There is a difference of 600 thousand votes, not even head to head.
They made statements saying, ‘This election is over. I have said this from the beginning, I said that if they don’t win, they will sue us. We won a big victory in Florida, we won by 8.1 percent in Ohio. We have declared a huge victory in North Carolina. But suddenly everything stopped. This is a shame for our country, they are trying to deceive the USA, we won this election. Now all that needs to be done is to ensure the honesty of the choice. I’m talking about a serious trick. We will apply to the Constitutional Court and demand the suspension of the vote count. We’ll win, and we’ve already won if you ask me. ”
Speaking after Trump, Mike Pence said, “The vote count continues, we will continue to be careful. The right to vote is the basis of our democracy and we are trying to do it honestly. Now more and more people in the country have started to say ‘Great USA again’. , we will see the great USA again, “he said.
