Transfer Rumors – Fierce London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal, do battle with each other to sign Stuttgart defender Serdar Taşcı.
Arsenal and Tottenham after German International, Serdar Taşcı
Serdar Taşcı, the German international of Turkish decent who is currently playing for Stuttgart has been tipped to play in the Premiership in the new season as both Tottenham and Arsenal want to transfer the centre-back.
Sources close to Tottenham have especially expressed their wish to land Taşcı to the Spurs outfit are the North London side will be competing in the Champions League and are unsure about centre back Ledley King after due to his frequent injuries.
The 23-year-old was included in the preliminary 27-man World Cup Germany squad but was not able to be included in the final 23 who are currently in the Semi Finals in the competition.
The German International is one of the hottest future prospects in Europe according to scout reports and has spoken of his interest to play for bigger teams in Europe as he would like to play in the Champions League more often.
According to rumors, Stuttgart has valued the centre back at £15 million but both Tottenham and Arsenal are not willing to pay more than £10 million.
Reports have also said that some Serie A teams are also after the German International.
