Breaking News – Authorities in Switzerland have said that at least one person has been killed and dozens of others were injured after a train derailed.

Swiss police have said that some of the injured were in critical condition and fear that the death toll may rise in the incident which occurred in southern Switzerland

The train was on route to the Alps and was filled with tourists when it derailed.

The injured were air lifted to nearby hospitals to be treated.

The cause of the accident is not yet known but investigations have been started.
