Tony Marshall back on stage in wheelchair
Tony Marshall had to undergo emergency surgery in May.
Now, two months later, the “Beautiful Maid” interpreter gave his first concert – in a wheelchair.
Concern about Tony Marshall has been particularly great in recent months. First the pop singer was infected with the corona virus, and in the meantime he was even in mortal danger. Less than half a year later, the musician fell ill with Covid-19 again. Shortly thereafter, the 84-year-old had to undergo emergency surgery. It is not yet known why.
But neither Corona nor an operation can stop Tony Marshall. Because now the singer was back on stage – even if only on a small one. As the “Bild” newspaper reports, he sang in front of 350 guests in his favorite Black Forest Hotel Dollenberg.
“The Stage Has Me Again”
However, Tony Marshall had to complete his performance while sitting. As can be seen in a video shared by the hotel on Instagram, the musician sits in a wheelchair while singing the song “Hands to the Sky” by the hummingbirds.
“Lovely to see Tony Marshall sing,” one fan commented on the short clip on the social media platform. “The stage has me again. Hallelujah,” Tony Marshall said happily in an interview with the “Bild” newspaper.
As early as May, the 84-year-old wanted to be back on stage and give a concert with his sons in his hometown of Baden-Baden. Due to the emergency surgery, “Tony Marshall & Sons – The Last Dream – A Singer’s Life” had to be canceled at short notice. There is no new date yet.
