Estonian programmers team have launched an imitation of the hit Internet game Angry Birds, ridiculing at Russian authorities Vladimir Putin and Patriarch Kirill for their prosecution of members of anti-government rock band Pussy Riot.
The aim of the ‘ Angry Kremlins ‘ game is to stop the female Pussy Riot rockers from rioting. The player must use a slingshot to catapult the heads of Patriarch Kirill and Russian President Vladimir Putin at masked Pussy Riot figures.
In an amusing touch, authorities Putin & Kirill noticeably wince and let out groans as their heads smash against obstacles including stone pillars and panes of glass.
The only one-level game has become a Web sensation among Twitter users after opposition figure Ilya Yashin posted a link to the game yesterday late.
Last week, three Pussy Riot female members were sentenced to two years in prison for performing an anti-government song in Moscow’s Christ the Savior Cathedral in a case that has drawn criticism from Western governments and human rights groups.
