Three people seriously injured after skiing accidents in Sölden in one day

The Dutchman collided with a 22-year-old Belgian while skiing downhill in the Tiefenbach glacier ski area.
Both fell. The 57-year-old remained unconscious on the slope, while the 22-year-old was uninjured, police said. The piste rescue team treated the Dutchman and flew him to Zams Hospital with a suspected head injury by emergency helicopter. Both winter sports enthusiasts were wearing helmets, it was said. The reason for the collision is not yet known.
Injured man drives to the mountain station and collapses
A 63-year-old was rammed from behind by a dark-clad skier in the Tiefenbachferner glacier area at around 2:30 p.m. and knocked to the ground. The unknown man continued skiing without providing help. The German sustained injuries to his left shoulder and right hand. He initially drove himself to the chairlift and took it to the mountain station. There he collapsed unconscious. Witnesses administered first aid and made an emergency call. The piste rescue team treated the victim and took him to Zams Hospital by helicopter.
Around 20 minutes before the accident, a 57-year-old woman collided with another winter sports enthusiast. The woman fell and fractured her pubic bone. The second person involved in the accident is said to have looked around but then drove on without providing assistance.
