Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller has added fuel to speculations linking him with a move away from Alianz Arena.
Interesting transfer news are out and it has been revealed that Bayern Munich winger Thomas Muller is weighing up a move to Inter Milan. The Germany international has lost his starting place under Jupp Heynckes near the end of the season and is currently unhappy with his status at the club. Muller could decide to leave after what was a very disappointing season for Bayern and he now admits the lack of playing time is a problem.
The 22 year old German international is on the Nerazzurri’s transfer radar and he will ponder his future once Euro 2012 has come to an end.
The forward told BILD on Wednesday : “Given my present situation, I have to give it some serious thought,”.
“I’m a bit concerned by the fact that I was not always in the starting line-up for the important games. That was something new for me and caused me some problems.
“For now though I am just concentrating on Euro 2012.”
Muller started his career at Bayern Munich, but exploded onto the big stage during season 2009/2010, before helping Germany win third place at the 2010 World Cup with no less than five goals at tournament finals. The player started this season as a first team regular, but was left on the bench in several high-profile games near the end of the campaign.
He, nonetheless, managed to score in the Champions League final against Bayern, but that did not prove enough for the title.
