A suicide car bomb that targeted a NATO convoy in the Afghan capital, Kabul, has killed at least 20 people, including foreign troops.
A suicide bomb targeting NATO troops exploded in the Afghan capital Kabul, killing and wounding civilians, an interior ministry.
“It was a suicide attack,” Zemarai Bashary told, adding the target was NATO’s International Security Assistance Force in the west of the city.
“There are a number of casualties, civilians killed and wounded,” he told AFP. He did not have further details.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahed said: ‘We claim responsibility. The attack, which was a suicide car bomb, was carried out by one of our mujahedeen (holy warriors).’
