Steven Seagal who is an actor, writer, philanthropist, aikido black-belt, blues musician, buddhist and reserve deputy sheriff of Jefferson Parish in the state of Louisiana, is facing legal action from a former personal assistant who claims he sexually abused her and illegally trafficked women.
The Former personal assistant, 23-year-old Kayden Nyugen, claimed she was sexually assaulted by Seagal three times while working for him in New Orleans, and that he retained two young Russian attendants as sex slaves.
Her lawyer, William Waldo, said she talked to Seagal about the alleged abuse but did not report it to authorities.
“She reported it to Steven Seagal,” Mr Waldo said. “In Jefferson Parish, where Mr Seagal is the deputy sheriff.”
Ms Nguyen filed a complaint with the California Department of Fair Employment & Housing and immediatly found out that she could sue Seagal. The agency granted the request and closed her case on April 1, court filings show.
Steven Seagal’s lawyer says the allegations are “ridiculous and absurd”.
