Hollywood star Jodie Foster and Alexandra Hedison exchange vows have been – surprisingly and covertly. The two were a couple for almost a year. Previously Hedison was romantically involved with another US celebrity.

Oscar-winning actress Jodie Foster has married her friend, the photographer and actress Alexandra Hedison. The wedding took place at the weekend, the spokeswoman for the Hollywood celebrities shared with now. Foster, 51, and Hedison, 44, according to U.S. media reports, been a couple for almost a year. In October 2013 she appeared for the first time on together in public.

At the ceremony for the Golden Globes in January 2013 Foster had her homosexuality publicly addressed. In a speech to Foster thanked her longtime ex-girlfriend, film producer Cydney Bernard, for their support. The two were together for 20 years and have two sons. In their relationship they had never made a secret, but does not even disclosed to the public. Foster and Bernard broke up in 2008.

Hedison was associated, among others, three years with U.S. talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. The two broke up in 2004, when DeGeneres came together again with their current wife Portia de Rossi.

The two-time Oscar-winner Foster (“The Accused,” “Silence of the Lambs”) became known as a teenager for her role in “Taxi Driver” (1976). She was most recently seen in “Elysium” and “God of Carnage” on screen.
