Sean Combs faces six more accusations of sexual abuse
The musician, known as Puff Daddy or Diddy, has already been formally accused by a judge of sex trafficking, criminal association and transportation for prostitution
The American musician and businessman Sean Combs has added this Monday another six accusations of sexual abuse, including one that links him to an assault against a minor. The civil lawsuits are filed a month after the artist, known artistically as Puff Daddy or Diddy, was arrested in New York, formally accused by a judge of sex trafficking, criminal association and transportation for prostitution. A judge denied Combs’ request to be released on bail on October 10 and set the trial date for May 5, 2025.
The rapper, 54, has denied in the last month having committed crimes in other accusations and has pleaded not guilty. The new lawsuits have been filed anonymously in a New York federal court by the Tony Buzbee law firm, who claim to represent 120 people who accuse the musician of abuse. The firm has stated in a statement that it will file additional lawsuits in the coming weeks. Among the letters is one from a man who accuses the businessman of assaulting him when he was still a minor.
“For decades, Sean Combs abused, molested, raped, assaulted, threatened and coerced women, men and minors for his sexual gratification, to impose his dominance and to conceal his abominable conduct,” John Doe, one of the alleged victims, stated in one of the lawsuits. The plaintiff alleged that during a party at the rapper’s mansion in the Hamptons (east of New York City) in 1998, he ordered him to drop his pants and then fondled his genitals. Doe claims that he was 16 years old at the time.
New allegations of rape and sexual abuse emerge against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
New allegations emerge against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Six new victims file complaints of rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault.
The allegations against rapper and music producer Sean John Combs, better known in the industry as P. Diddy, are mounting. According to official documents, six new victims have filed lawsuits in a New York court for rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault.
The people named in the civil lawsuits, including two Jane Doe and four John Doe, are just the first victims of a group of 120 new plaintiffs who will be represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, whose office is located in Texas.
Attorney Buzbee’s cases cover alleged incidents that allegedly occurred between 1995 and 2021, including an alleged sexual assault of a minor, as well as various accusations of rape. According to the victims, most of the assaults took place during the rapper’s infamous parties. P. Diddy’s companies are also named as “co-defendants.”
In the new documents, one of the men says he was sexually assaulted at a Macy’s in 2008, while another woman alleges the rape happened at a Marriott hotel. So far, the companies involved and the rapper’s defense have not commented on the matter.
The charges facing P. Diddy
In mid-September, the Manhattan federal prosecutor’s office formally charged the rapper with three felony counts. The charges are conspiracy to commit racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution. If found guilty, the music producer could spend decades in prison.
In addition to the indictment, in early October, attorney Buzbee announced that he is representing the 120 alleged victims who accuse Combs of crimes such as “violent sexual assault or rape,” “use of controlled substances to facilitate sexual acts,” “nonconsensual video recording,” and “sexual abuse of minors,” among others. The new complaints are part of this list of accusers.
“We will continue to fight this fight, no matter who the evidence may implicate,” Buzbee said. “It is a long list, but due to the nature of this case, we will be very careful before releasing any names. However, the names we will mention will surprise many.”
