Roma managed to eliminate Barcelona in Italy on Tuesday evening in the Champions League quarter-final second leg matchup.
Defeated 4-1 in the first leg last week, Roma needed three unanswered goals against Barcelona, and they did just that.
The 3-0 victory sent Roma to the semi-finals on a 4-4 aggregate, on away goals.
Roma’s goals came from striker Edin Dzeko, midfielder Daniele De Rossi and defender Kostas Manolas.
In the other matchup of the evening, Liverpool managed to defeat Manchester City once again, this time 2-1 to book their ticket to the semi-finals.
Despite conceding the first goal in just the second minute, Liverpool kept their calm and struck in the second half. Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino were the scorers for the Merseyside club.
