Real Madrid have offered to pay Tottenham €25 million plus 23-year-old Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin For Modric

Tottenham’s Luka Modric Set to Seal Real Madrid Move: Levy Wants £38m for Midfield Maestro

Luka Modric is edging closer to joining Real Madrid from Tottenham but reports in Spain differ as to how much the La Liga Champions will pay for the Croatian schemer.
Modric is desperate to leave White Hart Lane this summer and has his heart set on a move to Jose Mourinho’s Real. The 26-year-old was a denied a transfer to Chelsea last year and it is believed Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy has reluctantly sanctioned his departure to Madrid, provided the price is right

Spanish daily Marca, which has strong links to the club, claims that Madrid have already met Modric’s representative to agree personal terms but Spurs are holding out for €50 million for the playmaker, with Real willing to pay just €30 million.

Elsewhere, website as.com suggests that Madrid have offered to pay €25 million plus 23-year-old midfielder Nuri Sahin, a bid that interests Spurs.
Either way, it looks unlikely Modric will remain is N17 for much longer and Spurs appear to have already lined-up a replacement in the form of Liverpool target Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Modric joined Spurs in the summer of 2008 from Dinamo Zagreb and has made 127 league appearances, scoring 13 times.
