Rapper Nura was announced as a guest on the ProSieben show “Late Night Berlin” for Tuesday. After a statement on Instagram, her appearance has now been canceled.
Contrary to plan, the rapper Nura will not appear on Klaas Heufer-Umlauf’s show “Late Night Berlin” on ProSieben tomorrow, Tuesday. A spokesman for the station confirmed this when asked by t-online.
On Sunday morning shortly after 9.30 a.m. on the official page of “Late Night Berlin” on the platform ‘Periodt'” come by. The episode with her should be shown on Tuesday at 10:10 p.m. on ProSieben. The station has since deleted the post.
Almost at the same time, Nura posted a post on her Instagram story. This disappeared again after over 24 hours. In it, the 34-year-old shows a screenshot from her new music video. Nura poses in the black and white picture together with her colleagues Yung Madara and Jalil as well as her colleague Aisha Vibes. In the background, on a basketball hoop, the words “Free Palestine” can be read.
The day after Hamas’s terrorist attack on Israel, Nura expressed solidarity with the attackers who killed over 700 people. In this regard, there was extensive criticism of ProSieben on X.
Now the broadcaster t-online explains: “Nura will not be a guest on ‘Late Night Berlin’ on Tuesday.” There are no further details from production. Nura has not commented further on her post or the current disinvitation. In addition to Nura, the band Giant Rooks was also announced. It is unclear whether ProSieben will have to redesign the show produced by Florida Entertainment at short notice.
