Prince Andrew / After a gross mistake, his Instagram posts are deleted
It’s not quiet around Prince Andrew: After numerous scandals in the past, his next mistake follows – this time on Instagram. In the end, even his posts were deleted from the platform.
Prince Andrew (62) obviously does not want to withdraw from the public. Because after his abuse scandal, another misstep followed by Queen Elizabeth’s son.
The 62-year-old made the Instagram account of his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson (62) his own and posted three posts there – which were quickly deleted in a row.
In the video above you can see the Queen driving to the funeral service with Prince Andrew.
Prince Andrew uses revoked titles
According to British media, Prince Andrew posted three posts in which he spoke about the war in the Falkland Islands (1982). To indicate that these postings are his own, he signed them “written by HRH The Duke of York”.
But it was precisely the words that were fatal to Prince Andrew, because at the beginning of the year he was stripped of his honorary military posts by the Queen (95). This means that while Andrew is still part of the royal family, he is no longer allowed to use his titles publicly. And that’s exactly what he didn’t do in this case.
The salutation “HRH” was removed from the Instagram posts as quickly as possible and only a little later all three pictures could no longer be found on his ex-wife’s channel. It is unclear who ultimately deleted the post.
