Newcastle United who managed to earn their position back in the Premier League after being relegated from the top flight in the 2008-2009 season, got an
important lesson from the red devils.
Man Utd’s three goals came from Bulgarian International Dimitar Berbatov, Darren Fletcher and veteran Ryan Giggs.
However it was not all a stroll in the park for the Manchester boys as the first 10 minutes saw a great attempt by Newcastle’s Andy Carroll headed wide.
It is fair to say that Manchester United dominated the majority of the 90 minutes and went on to a comfortable win but the silence of Wayne Rooney is beginning to agitate the Old Trafford faithful.
The 24-year-old was replaced by Javier Hernandez, Sir Alex Ferguson’s new super kid, in the second half of the game.
