Terrible find on a lake in Essen: During a search, police officers found two dead people on the shore of Lake Baldeney. It is still unclear who it is.
Two bodies were found on the shore of Lake Baldeney in Essen on Tuesday morning. This was confirmed by a police spokeswoman on request. Details on identity, gender or the background are not yet known.
The police and fire brigade launched a search operation with a helicopter in the morning because a senior citizen was missing in the south of Essen. However, it is still unclear whether one of the bodies is the missing person. The “WAZ” had previously reported on the search operation.
