United States – Americans were shocked and in outrage at the brutal beating of an innocent sports fan after the Prince George’s, Md. County Police Department officers rendered him unconscious.

The College student from the University of Maryland was attacked by several police officers belonging to the County Police Department after it was alleged that the young student had attacked the officers.

However the brutal beating of the student known as John McKenna was captured on CCTV cameras showing the officers attacking the student for no apparent reason.

The incident had occurred after a Maryland-Duke basketball game where the police were clearly seen attacking the young man even after he went unconscious. The young man had been celebrating Maryland’s win over Duke but was confronted by a police horse while walking down the pavement.

The student was even seen backing away before the police suddenly attacked him, which was the opposite of what the police officials had said as they had alleged the young sports fan attacked them first.

hospital officials said that the 21-year-old man had received eight staples to a cut on the head received during the officers beating.

The incident is now being investigated by the FBI.

This is not the first time the Prince George’s, Md. County Police Department have been under the spotlight regarding conduct by there officers. Just a couple of days after the brutal beating of McKenna a man received $125,000 for being beaten and pepper sprayed for no reason.
