Oscar gossip from Will: Chris Rock breaks his silence

It was probably the most sensational moment at this year’s Oscars.

During his speech on stage, the comedian had made a joke about the hair loss of Will Smith’s (53) wife Jada (50), which backfired properly. In a fit of anger, the actor stormed towards the prankster and gave him a good slap in the face. Now Chris spoke humorously about the incident at the Oscars.

As reported by Entertainment Tonight, citing an insider, the 57-year-old joked about Will’s slap last Saturday. During his performance at Madison Square Garden, Chris also spoke about Cancel Culture, joking, “Anyone who says words hurt has never been slapped in the face”. According to Us Weekly, he repeated the joke in another appearance the following day. He also referred to the “Gemini Man” actor as “Suge Smith” – an allusion to the currently imprisoned hip-hop producer Suge Knight (57).

During the evening, Chris is said to have referred to the Oscar slap again. In a skit about very sensitive people who always portray themselves as victims, the father of two is said to have said: “I’m not a victim”. He put the whole situation behind him and would just move on.
