Pop star Rihanna was spotted giving Oprah Winfrey a guided tour around her hometown of Barbados over the weekend.
The two famous women, best known American talk show host Oprah Winfrey and pop star Rihanna, hit up their local shops and hangouts in Barbados, with Rihanna driving the 58-year-old Oprah Winfrey around in her Jeep.
It is an unlikely meeting of minds, but Rihanna and Oprah Winfrey looked like old friends as pop diva Rihanna welcomed the chat show host to her native Barbados.
Oprah Winfrey had an access all areas pass to Rihanna’s life as she filmed a bio of the singer for her new show ‘ Oprah’s Next Chapter ‘, which will air on August 19 on OWN. Previous Oprah Winfrey’s shows included interviews with Lady Gaga, 50 Cent and The Kardashians.

The twosome, both dressed in green costumes, Oprah Winfrey & Rihanna, will surely have much to discuss as Rihanna’s had an action-packed year of scantily-clad Twitter pics, a rumoured relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, and she was allegedly the catalyst of the massive bar brawl at New York club WIP where some people were injured.
After a great meeting of Oprah Winfrey and Rihanna, 58-year-old Oprah jetted out from Barbados. For the chat show queen had just carried out the finishing touches to an interview with music superstar Rihanna.
Oprah will be hoping that her discussion with the pop diva will be enough to breath some life into her ailing OWN Network.
