Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak is in critical condition – he is slipping in and out of consciousness 8 days after the dangerous Egyptian leader was sent to prison to begin serving a life sentence.

Hosni Mubarak’s family –  Suzanne Mubarak, and her two daughters-in-law were visiting him in the hospital prison after rumors circulated that he dies. The official told that Egyptian politician and military commander Mubarak  lives only on liquids and yogurts. He has suffered from an irregular heartbeat and required assistance in breathing, but now his health is stable in its deteriorated state.

Mubarak’s health condition is reported to have collapsed since his June 2 persuasion for failing to stop the killing of protesters during the uprising that overthrew him in 2011. His life sentence saw him transferred immediately to a prison hospital, instead of the military hospital and other facilities where he had been held since his April 2011 arrest.

Hosni Mubarak’s last public occurrence in June, the bedridden president Mubarak sat stoned-faced in the courtroom cage. Nevertheless, officials told that he broke into tears when he learnt that he will be transferred to Torah prison. It took officials lots of time to convince Mubarak to leave the helicopter that ferried him from the courthouse, finally to the prison. Egyptian ex-president said that his country has sold him and his own nationals wanted him to die. Many hoped Mubarak or his top officials would be condemned of murder and receive the death punishment.
