In the erotic thriller, Nicole Kidman plays a powerful, married company boss who begins a passionate affair with a young intern (played by Harris Dickinson). In an interview with the British daily newspaper “The Sun”, the 57-year-old admitted that she was so aroused on set of the erotic drama that she had to stop acting in between.
“There were moments during filming when I thought to myself, ‘I don’t want to have an orgasm anymore.'” She often thought, “Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I’m never touched again in my life! I’m sick of it.” It felt like a “burnout” for her, Kidman continued. Between her and her co-stars, 28-year-old Harris Dickinson and 64-year-old Antonio Banderas, “there was an enormous amount of trust.”
“Babygirl” premiered at the Venice Film Festival and was already highly praised there.
