NHL Tomas Vokoun almost decapitated

A shocking incident occurred in the NHL game between the Bruins vs Panthers on Monday. Florida Panthers defender Keith Ballard, got frustrated after a goal his team conceded and hit his goal keeper Tomas Vokoun on the neck and almost decapitated him.

Ilya Kovalchuk of the Thrashers scored the equaliser and mid point of the first period which upset Keith Ballard so much that he hit his goal keeper while trying to hit the net out of frustration.

Thomas Vokoun collapsed on the floor in utter pain and was taken to hospital which left Keith Ballard in shock himself.
