New photos of Prince Louis on his fourth birthday
Two days after the Queen, a much younger royal from Great Britain is celebrating his birthday. The youngest son of Prince William and Duchess Kate is four years old. The palace is releasing new pictures of him to mark the occasion.
For her youngest son’s fourth birthday on April 23, Duchess Kate photographed little Louis on the beach. Four different snapshots of the Cambridge baby were sent out into the world by the British royal family.
Photos of Prince Louis were taken in the east English county of Norfolk earlier this month. Prince William and Duchess Kate have their country residence Anmer Hall there.
It’s the first time the public has seen Prince Louis in a long time. William and Kate brought eight-year-old Prince George and six-year-old Princess Charlotte to the Easter service last week. At the memorial service for Prince Philip, who died in 2021, in March, the royal couple only showed up with their two older children.
“A good mix of Charlotte and George”
The joy of the photos, which were also shared on the family’s official Instagram profile, is correspondingly great. “He’s so pretty,” writes someone about the pictures. Many wish him a happy birthday and numerous other users note: “He has grown so much.” Also, someone says, “I think he’s a good mix of Charlotte and George.”
Just in time for Louis’ birthday, the British royal reporter Rebecca English reports that the little one will go to a new school with his older siblings from September. As she writes on Twitter, William and Kate want to send the three to a primary school in the county of Berkshire, south of London. As reported earlier this month, the couple plans to relocate their family there – to the grounds of Windsor Castle, near the Queen.
