Musician Nick Cave mourns son Jethro
A child of the musician died in an accident in 2015 as a teenager, now Nick Cave’s family has suffered another stroke of fate: son Jethro is dead.
Seven years after the sudden death of his son Arthur, Nick Cave has to cope with another great loss. Several media, including the British “The Sun”, have a statement from the musician in which he makes the death of his son Jethro public. This was born in 1991.
“It is with great sadness that I can confirm that my son Jethro has passed away. My family would be grateful for privacy at this time,” the 64-year-old said publicly. Details of the circumstances of death have not yet been released.
Jethro was in prison shortly before his death
On April 22, 2022, the British newspaper “Daily Mail” reported that Jethro had been arrested. He is said to have attacked his mother. He is said to have died two days after his release.
Jethro had lived in Melbourne and worked as a model. He came from Nick Cave’s relationship with model Beau Lazenby. The family man had a total of four sons from three different women. The 21-year-old Earl and his late brother Arthur are from Susie Bick, whom he married in 1999. He also has 30-year-old Luke with his ex Viviane Carneiro.
Arthur passed away in 2015 at the age of 15. An investigation later revealed that after taking the hallucinogenic drug LSD, he fell nearly 20 meters and died from the injuries.
