Mother of scandalous rapper Diddy breaks her silence
Everyone used to want to go to his parties. Now all of his companions have left - and not even his own mother believes in his clean record.
The American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs (54) is currently awaiting his criminal trial in New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center. He is accused of human trafficking and sexual violence, among other things. The accusations are growing daily.
Now even Diddy’s mother Janice Smalls Combs (84) is expressing serious doubts about his integrity!
In a statement that she sent via her lawyer, she writes: “I’m not here to portray my son as perfect, because he isn’t. My son wasn’t completely honest when he denied, for example, ever being violent towards an ex-girlfriend, even though the hotel’s surveillance videos showed otherwise.”
She is referring to the brutal video that shows Diddy in the hotel hallway with his then girlfriend Cassie Ventura (38) in 2016. He attacked the singer and dragged her back into the room by her hair. The clip was only made public in May 2024 as part of a lawsuit against the musician.
Nevertheless, Janice Combs is trying to limit the damage. “My son is not the monster they portrayed him as, and he deserves the chance to tell his side of the story.”
Diddy’s father was executed
Janice had raised Diddy alone. Father Melvin, who worked as a henchman for a drug lord, was brutally executed in a car. Little Sean was only two years old at the time. He grew up in poverty with his sister Keisha – until he fought his way to the top of the show business.
Always by his side on the way to the top: Janice Combs. She often accompanies her son to events and is not afraid of the limelight.
In her statement, Janice continues: “I can only pray that I am still alive to see him speak his truth and get justice.”
But things are not looking good for Diddy. Thousands of people have called a victim hotline, and 120 people are already part of a lawsuit against him. One of the abuse victims is said to have been only 9 years old. If convicted, the rapper and music entrepreneur faces at least 15 years in prison. In the worst case, he will spend the rest of his life in prison.
What did the VIPs know?
In Hollywood, a number of celebrities are now trembling in fear of further revelations. It is no secret that superstars such as Leonardo DiCaprio (49), Bruce Willis (69) and Ashton Kutcher (46) were regulars at Combs’ lavish parties for years. Rapper Jay-Z (54) was also part of his inner circle.
Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee, who represents the more than 100 alleged victims, wants to out prominent accomplices or even perpetrators in the near future: “The list is already long, but due to the nature of this case, we will make sure we are right before we do that,” he promises. And: “The names will shock you.”
