Messi, who has been considered the world’s best football player, signs new Barcelona contract with €700 million buyout clause. Barcelona announced that Lionel Messi had finally signed a new contract at the club. Argentinian superstar sign that will keep him at FC Barcelona through the 2020/21 season.
After Manchester City’s debut, club’s official website noted the buyout clause in Messi’s new deal stands at €700 million.
FC Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu also spoke after the signing. He said “It’s a great contract for the best player in football history,it fills me with pride to see him with us renewing his love for the Club.”
Not Manchester City
