The police have opened a manhunt for four people suspected of a violent robbery this morning at a glasses store in Amersfoort.

The four took her husband Aart Bouman (54) from his Rolex watch with a drawn gun, after they had severely mistreated him. The perpetrators are still missing.
The police have opened a manhunt for four people suspected of a violent robbery this morning at a glasses store in Amersfoort.
The four, armed with a pistol and wearing balaclavas, walked into the store around 10 a.m. Then they committed a robbery “with violence”, according to a police spokesperson at RTV Utrecht.
Three suspects fled on a scooter after the robbery, one fled on foot. The police cordoned off the area and sent officers in bulletproof vests onto the street. A police helicopter has also been deployed. The police warns not to approach the men themselves, but to call the emergency number 112.
