The Spanish police forces were heavily deployed for a second consecutive day on Thursday around the main squares of Madrid to prohibit protests supporting the “Outraged” movement.

Police set up strict cordons in Mayor and Arenal squares, where representatives of the movement also known as 15-M convened a march on Thursday to protest the evictions of those camped in Puerta del Sol.

The operation included the dismantling of camps in Paseo del Prado and Plaza Mayor, the last groups that remained after a large number of protesters withdrew in June by decision of the movement, which is demanding change in the Spanish political, economic and social systems.

Social organizations in Bilbao, Cataluña, Leon, Sevilla and Vitoria are planning to carry out mass demonstrations to support “the outraged” of Madrid, according to Publico newspaper.

‘Los Indignados”, or the “Outraged” movement arrived in the Spanish capital for a massive rally. Protesters came from all over the country to demonstrate over the financial crisis and unemployment. It started on May 15 with manifestations in different Spanish cities demanding a “real democracy” ahead of municipal elections and Autonomic Sunday, pas to be a spontaneous camping in central Madrid and other places in the provinces, and est is now becoming a place where people can express their weariness with the high levels of unemployment and the political situation in the country.
