Liverpool Transfer:Reds close to sign with young Spaniard talent Gerard Deulofeu / EPL News

Gerard-Deulofeu-Transfer-Liverpool

Liverpool to sign with Gerard Deulofeu which may be the biggest star in Europe’s future in transfer season.

Being one of the more talented teenagers in Europe right now, Barcelona aren’t looking to sell Gerard Deulofeu, which isn’t keeping Liverpool and other clubs from attempting to sign him for next season, at least on a loan deal.

Deulofeu isn’t discussing his future right now with anyone. He’s busy trying to win the U-20 World Cup with Spain, so far scoring twice as the Spaniards are off to a two wins out of two matches start in the tournament they’ve won once before.

Gerard Deulofeu had a fantastic season for Barcelona B, usually used as a right winger in the Barca 4-3-3, scoring 18 goals in 33 matches, getting himself a few chances to play for the senior side, appearing four times in all competitions, including twice in the Champions League, all being cameo appearances off the bench.

Deulofeu can play in a variety of attacking positions but much like Messi he is at his most dangerous when starting in wide areas and committing defenders. Last season he scored 18 league goals and he has been impressing this summer while representing Spain at the Under-20 World Cup.

As with every player Liverpool have been going after these last couple of seasons, Tottenham aren’t too far behind in trying to beat them to it, followed by Dortmund and Sevilla who would also like to see the player with them, even if it is on a short term deal.

While European football may be a factor in his decision, which Liverpool cannot offer at the moment, Luis Alberto was recently signed by the club, and the young Spanish winger was a teammate of Deulofeu’s last season, and it possibly might help him sway the Reds’ way.

Liverpool have turned their attentions to another Barcelona B wingerGerard Deulofeu. Thanks to Barcelona’s signing of Brazilian superstar, Neymar, Deulofeu has slipped further down the pecking order and looks set to leave the Camp Nou on loan this summer in order to gain some first-team experience – although Brendan Rodgers is set to face stiff competition for his signature
