Leni Klum celebrates her birthday – and causes confusion

At the age of sixteen, Leni Klum shone together with her mother Heidi on the cover of “Vogue” in Germany – since then she has been an integral part of the model world.

Born in New York, she has already appeared in front of the camera for big brands like Dior and has even launched her own fashion collection together with “About You”.

And she achieved all of this before her eighteenth birthday – which is not due until May 4th of this year. To the confusion of some fans, however, she already posted a picture yesterday, which she showed at her birthday party.

On her latest Instagram picture, Leni poses with a smile next to her birthday cake decorated with roses and pink candles. The sugar writing on it reads: “Leni 18”. In the background are countless pink balloons assembled into a large eighteen.

There is no doubt that Leni is celebrating her eighteenth birthday in the photo – even though she is officially still seventeen years old.

“Early birthday party,” wrote the young model under the snapshot, causing some confusion among her fans. Because in addition to a number of congratulations, including from her biological father Flavio Briatore, some astonished voices are also raised. “But her birthday is not until May 4th,” wrote one amazed fan. “She won’t actually be 18 until tomorrow,” said another soberly. It remains unclear why Heidi’s daughter blew out the birthday candles prematurely.

Model celebrated her twentieth birthday in 2021 – that’s behind it

Last year, Leni caused confusion with a birthday photo. On this she posed next to a birthday cake on which a pink “20” was emblazoned – even though the young model was only seventeen at the time.

However, attentive fans quickly found out that Leni did not celebrate her own birthday with the Instagram post, but that of the magazine “Glamour”. This has a very special meaning for the brunette because she was allowed to adorn its cover last year.
