Lena Meyer-Landrut cancels the entire tour!

Shock for all her millions of fans: singer Lena Meyer-Landrut canceled her entire summer tour and all festival appearances.

On Instagram, the ESC winner told her fans on Monday morning, depressed: “I feel a responsibility towards you and I don’t feel safe enough myself to play with a production in mostly sold-out, full halls in view of the ongoing corona pandemic.” The time is not yet ripe.

Lena continues: “I don’t want to endanger you. This is my personal decision and I do not judge or judge anyone who decides otherwise and plays or allows concerts and large events to take place.

Then the “The Voice Kids” judge gets personal, addresses her fans emotionally: “It hurts me deeply to disappoint many of you and can hardly bear to know you are sad. Believe me, it’s not easy for me. We’ll see each other live again, I promise.”

When will that be? Lena at least shares her idea of what concerts by and with her should look like: “I would like to experience concerts with you when we are all more carefree and can lie in each other’s arms and celebrate and have a carefree time together.”

Various concerts and festival appearances across Germany were planned for May, June and the summer of 2022. As Lena reports, tickers for her shows can be returned to the ticket offices. Lena’s gigs at open-air festivals have also been cancelled, but the festival tickets remain valid.
