Lavrov – Kuleba Meeting in Antalya: First Photos

While the international public is eagerly awaiting the outcome of the meeting to be held in Antalya by the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Russia, Lavrov and Kuleba, the Turkish delegation started to meet with the parties.

In the shared photos, Çavuşoğlu and his delegation sat at the table with the delegations of both countries. It was stated that Kubela and Lavrov came together at around 11.20 TSI.

All eyes are on Antalya on the 15th day of the war between Russia and Ukraine… The foreign ministers of Ukraine and Russia are meeting today in Antalya under the mediation of Turkey.

Before the tripartite meeting, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba was greeted by his counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on his way to Turkey.

In the shared photos, it is seen that the Turkish and Ukrainian delegations sat at the table for a bilateral meeting before the tripartite meeting.

Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, also made the statement that “The meeting has started”.

Kuleba, who made a statement before coming to Turkey, said, “I would like to sincerely say that I have low expectations from these meetings. We want a ceasefire, we want the independence of our lands and we want humanitarian problems to be resolved,” he said.

Russia, on the other hand, had previously demanded that the Ukrainian army lay down its arms, that the Kyiv administration officially recognize the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, and that the Ukrainian constitution be changed so that Ukraine is not included in the EU or NATO.
