The star is said to be recovering well following the accident on tour…
Lady GaGa reportedly suffered concussion after being struck on the head with a metal pole during her Born This Way Ball tour show in Auckland, New Zealand on Saturday (9th June).
The 26-year old was performing track Judas when one of her backing dancers – thought to be called Mark – accidentally hit Lady G on the head with the heavy object.
Following the accident, GaGa told the audience: “I want to apologise, I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion but don’t you worry I will finish this show.”
The Bad Romance hitmaker then carried on with the gig, powering her way through her set which contained 16 more songs.
According to GaGa Media, Lady G’s make-up artist Tara Savelo later confirmed that she had suffered concussion, adding that the star had recovered well.
GaGa’s Little Monsters soon reached out to the singer on Twitter, with the phrases “GetWellSoonGaGa” and “PrayForGaGa” becoming trending topics on the mirco-blogging site.
Lady G also hit the headlines over the weekend after addressing Madonna’s mash-up of Born This Way during her MDNA tour, criticising those who make a ‘mockery’ of others’ music.
